Arrow provides a real-time CREST solution suitable for any organisation with participant membership, including brokers, market makers, custodians and institutions. The Software's proven functionality, reliability and stability demonstrate important attributes amongst a loyal, prestigious client base, most of whom have been clients for nearly a decade since CREST inauguration.
Arrow, which also includes vital Stockbroking Software features, is suitable for both high and low trading volume participants and its portability allows for use as a stand-alone application or as an integrated solution with an existing back-office system. Arrow offers a variety of interface options. As standard, there is a business-level interface or a comprehensive Application Programmer Interface (API). The business-level interface can be readily modified to accommodate bespoke data formats or message queue technology.
The design emphasis is on achieving a high degree of straight through processing, interfacing to existing host systems and reducing the need for onward development. It ensures compliance with industry changes supporting functionality and market initiatives. CREST changes for 2006 are supported, including Automatic Splitting in Unsettled Transactions and the Introduction of the Single Settlement Engine (SSE).
The Euroclear Business Model will dominate future developments. The first stage, the SSE, will achieve a common settlement platform for CRESTCo, Euroclear Bank and Euroclear France. Arrow Crest Interface Software supports the SSE The ESES implementation and remaining harmonisation and platform consolidation stages will follow. Arrow supports the SSE and work is in progress to support the Common Communication Interface using ISO 15022 messaging.
Arrow has a user interface that offers a highly configurable role based environment. It has been designed specifically to be deployed simply to fit with organisations current workflow and business processing needs. User configurable alerts and authorisations can be tailored to client working practices. Background processing ensures host field compatibility and business rules validation maintaining compliance with CREST standards. This provides for a highly efficient back office function requiring minimal human intervention thus reducing operational and CREST processing costs.
